Short version: MackFoodie does not ask you for anything and does not collect anything about you. There is no account, no login, no newsletter, and no form on this site. What follows is the honest detail.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. We run no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no tracking scripts of our own. We do not set cookies of our own.
What our host sees
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like every web host, Cloudflare records standard request data such as IP address, approximate location, browser type and the page requested. We use this for nothing. It is how the internet works, not a choice we made about you. Cloudflare's own privacy terms cover that data.
Fonts
Typefaces load from Google Fonts. That means Google's servers see your IP address when a page loads. We get nothing back from it.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, MackFoodie may earn a commission. It never changes what you pay, and it never changes what we recommend.
Clicking an affiliate link sends you through Rakuten Advertising, which sets a cookie so the retailer knows the visit came from here. That cookie belongs to Rakuten and the retailer, not to us. We can see totals in our dashboard, such as how many clicks a link got and whether a sale happened. We cannot see who you are, what else you bought, or anything else about you.
If you would rather not be tracked that way, you can visit the retailer directly instead. Nothing on this site is gated behind an affiliate link.
Alcohol
Some pages link to wine retailers. You must be of legal drinking age to buy alcohol. Age verification is handled by the retailer, not by us.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. Since we do not collect anything from anyone, there is nothing to delete, but if you believe otherwise please get in touch.
Your rights
Laws in California, the EU, the UK and elsewhere give you the right to see, correct or delete personal data a site holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing to hand over or erase. If you want that confirmed in writing, email us and we will confirm it.
If this changes
If MackFoodie ever adds a newsletter, a form, analytics, or anything else that collects data, this page gets rewritten before that ships, and the date at the top changes. We will not quietly start collecting things.
